And to make sure that you’ll be able to understand maybe a tiny little bit of this weblog, here’s a link to a site that will translate it from Dutch to (a kind of) English, that sure will make it funny, but not necessarily readable!

Maybe you need a bit of help on this one. ‘Een webpagina vertalen’ means: translate a webpage. Fill in the url of our site (http://www.marnar.nl). Select languages, that will be: ’Nederlands naar Engels (meaning ‘Dutch to English). Click on ‘Vertaal’ (meaning ‘translate’) and there you are! How about them apples? (Ha, remembered that one!)

I’m famous, I’m famous, I’m famous! Yippeeee! I’m famous!

But to set the record straight: I don’t want anybody to think that I’m so vain and conceited that I have spent hours searching for my name on the internet. I can’t imagine that anyone–even if they were an arrogant and self-promoting American–would ever waste their time doing something like that. This is not me.

Even so, the next time you set up a blog about your family and personal life, could you please include my name (first and last) in the title? That would be perfect! ;-)
